Our Making Meaningful MOVES - Strategies to support authentic youth engagement training program, created in partnership with NYS OCFS, provides a compelling learning collaborative where provider attendees are exposed to tools, strategies and concepts that strengthen the lens of systemic engagement of youth voice on the macro & micro level. The concepts and conversations challenge attendees to
“think outside of the box” when it comes to fostering and incorporating the voices and causes of youth with lived experiences within the child welfare system. Training modules provide guided practices, concepts and tools to professionals and administrators to help foster opportunities of youth inclusion in an effort to improve systemic service delivery by maximizing youth/adult partnerships and increasing retention efforts of youth partners.
